Project History
This project was developed to house an English academy in Mindo, combining educational functionality with a warm, resilient architecture closely connected to the natural environment.
Constructive Concept
We combined concrete for structural stability, timber for interior warmth, bamboo as a representative natural element, and slate and river stone to integrate the building into Mindo鈥檚 landscape.
Challenges & Solution
Mindo鈥檚 humid climate and frequent rains demanded high durability. The solution was using treated materials, elevated structures, and deep roof overhangs, achieving spacious and functional classrooms.
